The hotel is centrally located, close to the main attractions in Reykjavik. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but some areas felt a bit neglected. The service was mixed, with some staff members being unhelpful. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot or using public transportation. The dining options were enjoyable, although some improvements could be made. Overall, a decent stay with good value for money.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The larger room I had was incredibly spacious and comfortable, perfect for enjoying the midnight sun. However, it did get quite hot inside. The staff was more than happy to help with arranging tours and bus pickups, making my vacation stress-free. The location was superb, just steps away from Reykjavik's main street and conveniently serving as a pick-up/drop-off spot for the airport bus. The dining experience was excellent, with a variety that even surpassed many complimentary breakfasts I've had in the states, saving me money. The facilities were well-rounded and offered everything I needed during my stay.

Staying in this hotel was a great experience. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for enjoying the midnight sun. However, they felt a bit cramped at times. The service was extremely nice and helpful, although not very proactive in suggesting low-budget options. The location couldn't be better, right in the town center near all the lively spots. The dining experience catered to different tastes, though some items ran out quickly. Overall, a good value for the money.

The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of the main street of Reykjavik, making it a great starting point for exploring the city. The rooms were on the smaller side and had a slight sewage smell issue, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The dining experience was top-notch, resembling some of the best restaurants in continental Europe. However, the hotel lacks facilities and only accepts cash in ISK despite pricing in Euro.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms, although slightly untidy and with a sewage smell issue, were manageable for a short stay. Despite these issues, with the right precautions like a mask and ear plugs, the room was still usable.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional with friendly and helpful staff, offering good breakfast options. Despite the inconvenience of no wifi for three days, the receptionist went out of their way to relocate me to their sister hotel location.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is impressive, situated at one end of the city's main shopping street and close to a major bus stop. While it offers easy access to tourist attractions and the center, there were some areas nearby where one may feel uncomfortable walking alone at night.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience at the hotel was truly fantastic, comparable to 4 or even 5-star restaurants in mainland Europe. The availability of regional products added to the culinary experience.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel lacks certain facilities but redeems itself with excellent dining options. It would benefit from additional services such as room service and airport shuttle.

The rooms were clean and well-serviced during my stay, although lacking a window and slightly below my price-expectation level. The service was a mix of helpfulness and friendliness, with some minor hiccups in low-budget recommendations. Dining options offered many choices with a decent level of service. Overall, a good value for the price paid.
